Tightrope Walking.

Good morning.

Yesterday I was watching a Youtube video by someone whom I find very entertaining. Expecting something funny I tuned in like everyone else. The video pops up and he has this serious look on his face. He then proceeds to inform us why he has not posted a video in over a month. His uncle passed and it was at this time he realized the time that he has missed. He felt so lost. Wondering where the time went. He cried because he felt as if he had lost so much making these videos for us. He felt he has lost those family and friend connections chasing after his dream. The things that were so important to him were gone and he was just realizing it. I felt for him because I know what it feels like to lose someone and to lose one’s self. I totally get how you can wake up and think where did the time go? Once time is gone, you can never get it back.

I’m saying all of this to say don’t get so wrapped up in life that you don’t take time to stop and smell the roses. Cherish the moments with people that truly care for you. It’s always good to have goals but you don’t want to lose focus of what’s important. Success is great but when there is no one there to share it with it’s like you have nothing at all. Grinding out those dreams is what we are taught to do but we never teach balance. Grind, take some down time, and grind again. The people that are in your corner will always be there to recharge you. They want to see you succeed so you should be able to find refuge in them when you need to let down your guard and recharge.

Think about what is important to you and find the balance now. Time goes at its own speed and you don’t want to look up and wonder how you missed it all.

I hope that you take some time to call someone and tell them that you love them today.

AND remember in time you will make mistakes but be thankful that GOD allows U-Turns.

MAKE IT GREAT!

E
