Good morning,

I was reading my devotional this morning and it was titled, “Follow your Guide”.

It told me that just because you see a hurdle ahead it doesn’t mean that there is not something already prepared for you to get over it. We have a tendency to worry ourselves silly about the unknown. Well……know that there is already a solution to your problem. Keep following your Faith and the answer will appear. Do not let fear misguide you and get you off track. Stay focused. Stay prayed up. Stay Faithful. It will all work out.

For those of you that are on a clear path….. Keep practicing the above so that you will be prepared for the unknown.

AND remember when you have to take that first step into the darkness of the unknown; you must believe one of two things will happen. There will be something solid for you to stand on or you will be taught to fly…..

That's not Kryptonite......

Good morning,

A friend was venting to me about their current life storms. They asked for my advice and I told them the following, “You never know how strong your Faith is until you’re in a good fight.” I told them it seems like things are not going well right now and you may even want to give up but this is the time to buckle down and know that the sun always returns.

I was later thinking, that we should all continue the good fight and keep reminding ourselves that if we got through past storms then we will get through future storms. We are built in the image of the greatest so we need to act like it. Through our own encouragement, we should be able to supply enough positivity to get us to that rainbow on the other side. We have to keep our heads up. No one ever said it would be easy but it’s always worth it.

AND remember you have three choices in life…… Give up, Give in, or Give it your all. Remember that falling down is part of life and picking yourself up is part of living!

Sometimes you have to learn through pain........

Good afternoon,

I want you to try something…..

Ball your hands up really tight. Do you feel the tension in your hands and forearm? Do you know that if you continue to hold that position that the tension will spread through the rest of your body? If held too long it will start to wear on your nerves. You will eventually become very uncomfortable and tired of holding this position. Now open your hands. You should immediately feel the release of that tension and a relief to your hands. When you hold on to your worries and fears you are actually inflicting pain and adding tension to your life. No one told you that you had to hold on to the things that are wearing on your life. IT’S YOU. I know that you feel that you worry because you don’t know what life will toss your way…..but you have to realize that GOD created you. You are already built for whatever comes your way. You just have to keep moving. Keep standing in Faith. You say you have Faith but you don’t use it. You are not demonstrating that you have Faith to get you through the storm. When something happens, take a moment to step back and turn up your Faith! Life happens and it’s how you handle it that makes you great! Remind yourself of all that you have ALREADY endured and make that your motivation to believe that you will be able to weather any future storms.

Please know that if you let go it doesn’t mean that you don’t care or you are weak. It means that you are strong enough to Walk by Faith and not by Sight. It means that you no longer desire to have unnecessary tension in your life.

There is a quote that says, “We can do this the easy way or the hard way…the choice is yours”….. This is how GOD works. He will put things in your life so that you can maneuver through life a little easier. If you choose to ignore them then obviously you are choosing the hard way and GOD will put it in your life if it will help you to get you were you are supposed to be. Be strong enough to “Let go and Let GOD”…….THE FIRST TIME!

I hope that you have decided today to make your life easier by opening your hands……
